What to bring
Our accommodation options are well equipped so it should not be necessary to bring much with you other than your clothing and personal effects, and in the case of self-catered options your food and drinks.
Some suggestions of things that might be useful to bring with you are good walking shoes, sunblock, hat or cap, insect repellent, binoculars and camera. For your convenience we have included a down-loadable list of suggested items to use when packing.
Directions
A down-loadable map is provided here showing routes from Zimbabwe’s capital city, Harare. Should you require directions from another location please contact us and we will be happy to assist.
If you are driving to Chishakwe from Harare you will be passing from a Highveld area to a Lowveld area and will witness a gradual change in the vegetation as you drive. By either route the drive is scenic and should take you approximately 5 hours from Harare.
